The 2015 preseason for the Steelers will get off to an early start, as the NFL has announced the black and gold will play in the annual Hall of Fame Game on August 15th against the Minnesota Vikings.
The game will take place at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio, on Sunday, August 9th. The game will be telecast on NBC as part of “NBC’s Sunday Night Football”. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET.
The Steelers played the New Orleans Saints in the 2007 Hall of Fame Game in Canton, beating the Saints 20-7 in what the was the debut for then new head coach Mike Tomlin.
There will for sure be a ton of Steelers fans in Canton in August, as the team celebrates the induction of Jerome Bettis to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
The Hall of Fame ceremony will take place on Saturday night, August 8th.
