New Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said recently that he liked what he has seen so far from quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. The QB took part in a recent mini-camp, and has been at each and every practice of the Steelers offseason program. “He’s a tremendous competitor,” Tomlin said in Friday’s Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. “He’s, of course, a very talented guy. He communicated well with his teammates. He’s kind of a ‘ball’ junkie, and I didn’t know that about him. He talked ‘ball’ on a day-to-day basis. He was really into it. I was very pleased with him.”
