Another day, more news from the Big Ben case. In today’s ongoing saga, PFT.com reports that Ben and the cops we told you about yesterday had a little picture session the night of the incident:
As it turns out, Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was palling around in Milledgeville, Georgia not only with two off-duty cops from Pennsylvania but also with an on-duty officer who would later investigating the charge of sexual assault.
According to the Milledgeville Union-Recorder, Sgt. Jerry Blash posed for photos with Roethlisberger earlier in the evening, both alone and with a group of other officers. “The photographs did not and have not affected the investigation at all,” Police Chief Woodrow Blue told the Union-Recorder.

I don’t care if there were 100 cops around Ben, they would not follow him into the bathroom! And if they acted the way cops normally act with “celebrity buddies”, they probably looked the other way. If the cops are not going to tell an underage woman to leave the bar, then they aren’t going to tell “Big Ben” not to assualt her. I don’t believe the cops!!!! Mr. Rooney is back in town from Ireland. I hope he meets with Ben, and tells him to look else where for a job.

RD how can you condemn a man who hasnt been proven guilty. You honestly think Ben needs to get out of Pittsburgh, that is ridiculous.

Ben needs to surround himself with better people. Not that it’s their fault that this happened but seriously, why is there not someone saying in his ear, let’s get out of here or we are getting out of here or I quit if you don’t follow my direction and we’re leaving! Maybe an oversimplification but the people in his PR camp, bodyguards, etc. are imbeciles for letting this happen because he obviously lacks the judgement to be a grown up and lead a responsible, iconic, franchise quarterback life and stay out of the papers on his own.

Jay I do agree with you that Ben should surround himself with smarter people and not a bunch of yes men, although it ultimately comes down to Ben making better decisions. Hes not a kid anymore and he has to stop acting like it.
