As we reported earlier, Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger has hired former Ray Lewis attorney Ed Garland to help him in his new sexual assault case. Garland released a statement about the case earlier today stating his new rich client did nothing wrong and that they will fight the case 100 percent.
“The facts show that there was no criminal activity. No sexual assault occurred,” attorney Ed Garland said in a statement Monday. “Ben is completely innocent of any crime.”
Steelers President Art Rooney II said in a statement Monday that the team is closely monitoring the Milledgeville situation.
“All of us in the Steelers family are concerned about the recent incident involving Ben Roethlisberger in Georgia,” the statement said. “We cannot comment on any of the specifics until law enforcement’s investigation is concluded.”

I agree with Thomas Crowley. And Mike’s sentiments seem to echo the working man’s mentality that, “Hey, we toil and slave for $25,000-$30,000 a year and, as nerdy and not having a life as it may make us seem to have, we don’t care, we put stock in looking forward to Sundays and our hard earned money in things like fantasy football, Directv, we buy your shit with the hypocycloids (yellow, red, blue) on them, go to the games, sit through the inane, ridiculous commercials, yell at the TV…Yeah, we’re losers but SO WHAT….We got lives and tell our friends about the Steelers, look forward to the Fall and late April’s draft, banter and talk shit and have bragging rights with our friends and other people….It’s cultural and I’m fucking proud of it…for what, so that an oversexed, pampered athlete who I thought was different can go and spit in our collective faces! FUCK THAT, MAN! I’m sick of it and no, ain’t losing sleep about it because I go to work and try to make a baby and study my classes and whatever but it’s just against I dunno principle or something. Why can’t there be someone who just grows up in sports and does their fucking job, goes home, gets married, fucks their wife, makes babies and throws touchdown passes. Hey, Ben, when it’s all said and done, ya ain’t gonna be able to take all this pussy with you wherever you’re going! GROW UP $100 million dollar man!
