That brought back some memories!! Sure, the Raiders were dirty and they hated the Steelers but that rivalry was awesome. Reminds me a bit of the current Steeler-Ravens rivalry. Tough teams, exciting finishes and characters. Ray Lewis,Joey Porter,Ben and Cowher and Reed and Ward etc.. Good stuff. One question, Can Villipiano be any more obnoxious? I remember him as a good player, not a great one. He always rags on Franco and the Immaculate Reception. He always brags about the 1976 championship game. Yes, the Raiders won (at home and without the ENTIRE Steeler backfield playing) but I cant recall guys like Stabler,Shell or Branch ever being that over the top about that game.The Raiders cry about the ice in 1 championship game, but brag about beating the depleted Steelers in another.
