GM Kevin Colbert Says “All Signs Are Good” Regarding Ben Roethlisberger’s Injured Elbow

There’s been a lot of speculation as to what’s going on with the elbow recovery of one franchise quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.

It sounds like things are going in the right direction, as when asked about the elbow general manager Kevin Colbert stated, “All signs are good at this point.”

Big Ben’s recovery appears to be on track, but the team will have a much clearer idea of his health after his “significant” checkup on February 21st.

The medical staff should know how realistic a full recovery is and when it is realistic to have their franchise QB back on the field. Colbert even indicated that Roethlisberger could be in better shape than he was to start the 2019 season.

The Steelers would like to go with Roethlisberger as their starter for at least one more season. The veteran turns 38 years old in September.

The team does need to start planning for the future, but from the sounds of it the team in 2020 will be set to make at least one more Super Bowl run with Big Ben taking snaps under center.
