Antonio Brown Tweets Out He and Art Rooney II Agree “It is Time to Move On”

Unhappy Steelers wide out Antonio Brown had a meeting with Art Rooney II today regarding the issues that he’s having with the team, and for the first time it seems that there’s some common ground between he and the team – and the two seem to agree the best thing for the team and Brown is for him to be dealt elsewhere – at least in the words of Brown.

Here’s a tweet that Brown put out Tuesday morning regarding the meeting, saying that the two sides agree that it’s “time to move on.”

Antonio Brown can scream to the heavens that he wants out of Pittsburgh . He can tell the fans goodbye and also be dumb enough to tell other teams to call him , which is tampering by the way . However , heres what Brown and everyone else forgets . The guy has three years left on his current contract . The Pittsburgh Steelers own his rights for the next three seasons at which time he’ll be almost 34 years old . Bottom line , if the Steelers cant get at the very least , a late first round pick for him he stays in Pittsburgh . Whats he going to do ? Sit out for the next three seasons and lose the backend of his career . Not hardly . After letting LeVeon Bell go for nothing in return the Steelers have to make good on this Antonio Brown deal . They have no choice .
