1. Samuels Steps Up Big
Steelers running back Jaylen Samuels and the O-line had a fantastic day for the black and gold, as he ran for 142 yards on 19 carries (7.5 yards per carry).
He hit the holes hard, and his running paced the team on a day when they really needed yards on the ground to be able to control the clock.
The Steelers outrushed the Pats 158 to 96, and Samuels was very Conner-like in the win, gouging the Patriots for some big carries when the team needed it.
The fifth-round pick has proved his worth, and it will be interesting to see if the team now takes an even more cautious approach with James Conner for next week’s game at New Orleans.

A great long overdue win against Brady and the Patriots but at the end of the day the Steelers defense was still gashed at times and other times looked totally confused . With the the next two against Drew Brees in New Orleans and the Bengais at home , neither game is a gimme for the Steelers . In the end the Steelers will go as far as as their offense can take them . The defense , now that is another story .
