1. Conner Keeps on Pounding
James Conner ran the ball for 107 yards on 24 carries, a 4.5 yards per carry average, and he contributed with a big 25-yard rush. The last time the two teams played Conner was a non-factor, so having him have a big game was a huge plus for the offense.
His ability to make grabs as a receiver was a big key as well, as he had seven catches for 56 yards with the Steelers first touchdown of the day.
This was a great effort by a running back who seems to be getting better and better by the week. He will have to recover quickly as he and the line has a tough test against the Panthers on Thursday night.
