2. The Steelers O-Line Must Play Well
In the 30-9 game Ben Roethlisberger was not only bad throwing picks, but also he was pressured and had balls knocked down, which is why a few of those picks came on tipped passes.
The offense line has to be responsible for the QB staying upright, and also not allowing Jags D-linemen to knock around his passes. Look for Ben to get the ball out quickly, and look also for him to try to include players like Le’Veon Bell, Jesse James, and even JuJu Smith-Schuster to try and soften the Jags D for the Steelers run game.
The weather is such that looks like it will be a better day to run the ball, but don’t be surprised if the Steelers allow their star QB to try and open up the offense early, and possibly even hit some plays downfield.
A lot of this pressure will fall on that O-line to have a great game against the best defensive line in the AFC and maybe the league.
