2. Where was the Run Game?
We already stated that the Jags entered Sunday with the worst run defense in the league, allowing huge chunks last week to the New York Jets in an OT loss.
Sunday it appeared that after they were stopped early, the Steelers gave up on the run game, as Le’Veon Bell ran the ball just 15 times, and overall they ran just 20 times on the day.
Again, the Jags came in with the WORST run defense in the league, but that didn’t seem to matter, as the Steelers for whatever reason decided they were going to force the pass, even after Ben Roethlisberger did little early on to give anyone confidence he was going to have a good game.
The coaches get a big fat “F” on the day for this game plan, and it appeared they looked at last week’s game and just forgot how good they were against the Ravens.

Team is a train wreck

Marks above comment is dead on . The Steelers are a train wreck at the present time from the top to the bottom . Our quarterback is playing as bad as he ever has . Our all pro running back looks like a guy who missed the entire off season and all of training camp . Hes not even close to being the same back hes been the last couple years . We have a defense that cant stop the run if they’re lives depended on it . We get the secondary back to respectability and now the front seven has suddenly forgot how to play football . It makes no sense whatsoever . The Jags whole offense is centered around Leonard Fournette and the Steelers knew that coming in . He rushed for nearly 200 yards against them . Inexcusable , period . Lastly , this is falling directly at Mike Tomlins feet . This team was built to contend for a Super Bowl this year and they look more like an expansion team that cant get out of their own way . Bottom line , theres way to much talent on both sides of the ball to be getting these kinds of results . Tomlin and his staff better get this fixed fast or 2017 is going to be over and he and his staff are going to have a whole lot of questions to answer to . It wont be pretty .

Dave B, exactly right! Coaching is a disaster, players aren’t engaged at all. Tomlin may have lost this team

I can’t believe anyone in here would have the complete and utter AUDACITY to rip our Steelers and especially that awesome coach mike Tomlin! You guys should be ashamed
Ripping a team and a coach of such epic prowess and magnitude. What Worthlessberger er, I mean future hall of fame quarterback ROETHLISBERGER, an ownership family that NEVER does anything political like make up an unnecessary, racially equitable rule and then actually hire a guy to appease not only the rule but the community so as to say, “Hey, look at us, we just hired a black guy and it’s our own rule! We are awesome!”’ The Rooney’s would never do anything like that! I’m just outraged at th fan reaction saying things like train wreck! Come come now! Don’t you know that Tomlin breeds mediocrity and actually signs off on those ridiculous Haley offensive game plans where we abandon the run only down four and then subsequently rely on our vastly overrated quarterback and greatest joke on turf offense to save the day! I said it two weeks ago haven’t been on here since because I’ve been without internet. Worthlessberger is washed up, I don’t care what he’s done for us in the past nor do I give a shit that we’d be worse off with someone else…I want him out and Tomlin too!
