1. Keep Ringing that Bell
It was the old Le’Veon Bell last week in Baltimore, running an awful lot (35 times) but wearing down the Ravens defense and finally getting into the end zone for the clinching score in the big AFC North win.
The Jags are not all that good against the run, as last week in NY it was the Jets rushing all over them, coming up with some big runs that eventually led to a Jets overtime win.
Today expect Bell not to run 35 times, but he should see the ball about 25, and also look for him to get some chances per usual in the passing game as well.
The game plan should be heavy on Bell, but not to the point where they don’t get some other playmakers shots.
Prediction: Let’s finally have a clean game and get away from the distractions that the team has had to chat about over and over, and the Steelers should get to 4-1 on the season. Look for the run game to have a huge game, going over 200 yards total, and for the Steelers up front guys to do enough to make Fournette work for every yard he gets, and with it the Steelers should be able to get the win and set up a huge matchup with the Chiefs next week. Great effort by Steelers today! Keep watching and supporting Tomlin and this joke of a team. I’ll be back when he’s gone.
