See if you have heard this one before – the Steelers, a big road favorite, lay an egg to a bad team.
They did it again on Sunday, amid all the talk about who was out for the National Anthem, the black and gold didn’t play well and didn’t get the job done against the Chicago Bears, a team that threw for 101 yards and still won the game.
The Steelers formula for losing reared its ugly head with not being able to stop the run, and they were not able to convert drives when needed, and also committed two bad turnovers.
Here’s a couple takeaways from today’s awful 23-17 loss, an overtime loss that frankly should have never gotten to that point.

Another year goes by , and another loss to a door mat team that should have lost by at least two touchdowns . The Steelers have gotten so predictable at this style of play that you can automatically mark it down as a loss when the schedule is released . In a word , pathetic . The Steelers high powered offense could barely move the ball and the defense made Bears running back O.J. Howard look more like a young O. J. Simpson . All I can say is , you had better get it fixed fast because tougher games are coming .

Way to go, Tomlin. you just very rightfully earned the very dubious distinction of being the only coach to lose TWICE to Mike Glennon! But it doesn’t surprise me coming from a coach whose existing knowledge of X’s and O’s is Tic-Tac-Toe! Oh, apologists, please come out and let me hear all the Tuitt wasn’t there, Watt wasn’t there, it was too hot, our vaginas hunted, etc. etc. Perhaps the Steelers could reach into their collective purses and pull out some terrible tissues for those terrible tears! Realize they have an overrated QB leading an overrated offense with a pure suck head coach! Easy to hate this team! Hard to root for and breaks my heart having been a fan for so long. No business losing to THAT team, but it’s what Tomlin teams do! No one knows how to tackle or wrap up, they jump started the season for a back who was SUCKING so far this year and, a game plan which should’ve been solely to stop the run knowing Glennon wasn’t gonna beat you…and they couldn’t even do that! Please don’t franchise Bell again next year…let him go rap somewhere…I can’t wait for BB to retire so they have an actual excuse to lose these types of games. could’ve taken a nice 3-0 season record into baltimore next week but by october, this team will be 2-2 and everyone will be saying just wait until we get hot in December…It’s THESE games that prevent us from getting a seventh because we have to play on the road in january as opposed to home. Everyone loves Tomlin…I just can’t wrap my head around it. They have looked like shit so far this year and were lucky to be 2-0. Now, let’s see this unfold! I can’t wait to hear ALL the excuses! Yinzers unite, fall back on your laurels and stay entrenched at 6 for a long, long time!!!!!

Hey BB , If you ever bothered to read any of my posts going back for the last two or three years then you’ll see Ive said repeatedly Tomlin is an average coach at best . He is not a great coach by any means . Then again , maybe you dont know how to read , because you act like youre about four years old , by the sound of your posts on this site . If youre going to post on this site and call people out for no reason then at least be smart enough to get your facts straight . Otherwise , do something constructive like go watch sesame street or something . Thats probably more your speed .

I know that you have been told off before for your love of Mike Tomlin until you were called on it last year by Jay and then you turtled like a turdle.
You need to get back into the kitchen where you belong dudette.
