The Steelers have a new cornerback as Wednesday night the team announce they had acquired Redskins corner Dashaun Phillips in exchange for center Lucas Crowley.
The 26-year-old Phillips has played with the Cowboys, Jets and last season appeared in five games in a nickel-corner role for Washington.
He recorded seven tackles and a fumble recovery.
