NFL Films today announced their fall lineup for two of their hit series’ ‘A Football Life’ as well as ‘The Timeline,’ and Steelers fans will be happy that there’s going to be some shows dedicated to the franchise.
First on ‘A Football Life,’ there will be two Steelers profiled, the first being newly enshrined Hall of Fame linebacker Kevin Greene. The hard hitting OLB went into the Hall of Fame Saturday in Canton, Ohio.
The other show on the series that Steelers fans will have an interest in features former Steelers coach Chuck Noll, who went into the Hall of Fame in 1993.
The other NFL Network show Steelers fans will take an interest in is ‘The Timeline,’ which is a one-hour show ‘chronicling seminal moments that formed the NFL’s storied past, shape the present and, in some cases, set the stage for the future.’
The show featuring the Steelers will air on 9/28, and is called ‘Night of the Living Steelers.’ The description is as follows:
Night of the Living Steelers (Wednesday, September 28 at 8:00 PM ET) – Legendary zombie filmmaker George A. Romero revisits Pittsburgh and members of the 1970s Super Bowl Steelers
So make sure your DVR’s are set for what is sure to be a fun fall with a lot of Steelers shows on NFL Network.

Just incredible to me that Kevin Green would be featured on a football life before Jack Lambert… absolutely remiss not featuring Jack for a full hour

There are many Steelers that deserve the honor of being featured on A FOOTBALL LIFE after the others that have been in the past. Mel Blount, Heinz Ward and Kevin Greene to name a few. But, Jack Lambert should have been recognized much earlier and before Kevin Greene, Where the “Steel Curtain” originated with Joe Green and the defensive line Jack Lambert was the catalyst that extended it throughout the complete defensive.
