Now that it’s over, it’s time to sit back and reflect on the Steelers 2015 season. Some will say it was ‘close but no cigar,’ while others will say the team went as far as it could based on the amount of injuries the team suffered.
Today we take a quick look at 10 ‘Favorite Memories’ of the season, which should already give you hope for 2016 and beyond for the black and gold.
10. Bettis’ Big Night in Canton
Okay, maybe this isn’t a direct memory of the 2015 Steelers, but come on, how could you NOT love the night of August 8th in Canton when Bettis stood on stage last and gave a speech to remember. “I’ve been blessed to have the best teammates you could ever have,” Bettis said.
“They gave me everything they had, every time we stepped on the football field. We knew we were a family and that we would get the job done.”
‘The Bus’ did just that, and it was a remarkable night for the Steelers and their fans at the steps of the Hall of Fame.
