6. Hines Ward – Drafted in 1998 in the 3rd round with the 92nd pick. Ward was drafted to be a Mr. Utility out of Georgia in 1998. He played quarterback for the Bulldogs, but the Steelers had him move to receiver/ kick returner. He played in all 16 games his rookie season though he didn’t start any. Hines had 1000 career receptions for 12083 yards with 86 career touchdowns. He is the leader in those catagories for receivers in Steelers history. Hines was a huge part of two Super Bowl winning teams, and will forever be remembered as one of the best blocking wide receivers to ever play the game.
