Late-Round Options:
(5th Round)
Ryan Russell (Purdue, OLB) – Russell has 3-4 experience and can play multiple positions. Has a chance to develop into a great player.
Matt Jones (RB, Florida) – Jones was a junior for the Gators and has nice size. A good option here and Pittsburgh will consider at least one running back in this draft.
(6th Round)
Erik Dargan (S, Oregon) – Dargan is a one-year starter, but led the Pac 12 in interceptions. A developmental player at this spot who can provide depth.
John Crockett (RB, North Dakota State) -The Steelers have two 6th-round picks this year and Crockett could be an option.
Corey Crawford (DE, Clemson) – a huge man with good wingspan that underachieved at Clemson. Not a great athlete.
(7th Round)
John Feliciano (OG, Miami) – Versatile and very experienced. Has short arms and very slow feet.
Trevor Pardula (Punter, Kansas) – A left-footed punter with huge hang time. Brad Wing needs to be challenged.
