The fact that Worilds is retiring , is definitely a surprise . However , the fact that he will not be playing for the Steelers next year is not a surprise at all . The chances of the Steelers resigning Worilds to a new contract was pretty much slim and none . Bottomline , he was asking alot more than he was worth , based on his production . With that being said , our only two outside linebackers left on the roster are Jarvis Jones and Arthur Moats . That leaves the Steelers dangerously thin at a very critical position for a team that plays the 3-4 defense . At the end of the day , this leaves the door wide open for James Harrison’s return in 2015 . It shouldnt , but it does . The Steelers have to have depth and Harrison will provide that . Make no mistake , Harrisons best days are long gone and he is not the player he was four or five years ago . The Steelers need long term help at this position and that has to come from free agency or the draft . It definitely is not going to come from James Harrison .
