Free-agent tight end Jermichael Finley visited with the New England Patriots last Friday, but there’s talk that the Steelers may have interest in the former Packers TE.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports the Oakland Raiders have also shown interest in Finley and that he has visited the Steelers’ facility and has been cleared by their team doctor, who also doubles as Finley’s doctor.
The Packers have also talked about bringing back Finley if his surgically repaired neck checks out.
The 27-year-old was hurt on October 20th of last season against the Browns, and didn’t play the rest of the season. He had 25 catches for 300 yards with three touchdowns.

One question. Does that mean Spaeth isn’t gonna work out?

If Finley is really 100% healthy , the Steelers should grab him quickly . He would be a huge asset in the passing game and a major upgrade over Matt Spaeth .
