Not many will forget the Sunday night in which Ben broke his nose early in a game against the Ravens on Sunday Night Football. The QB played on, and thanks to a late jarring hit by Troy Polamalu to force a turnover and a TD by Isaac Redmen, the Steelers won the game and the division.

Its amazing when you think how many years the Steelers struggled because of mediocre quarterback play . From the time Terry Bradshaw retired in 1983 till 2004 when Ben came along this team had the likes of Bubby Brister , Kent Graham , David Woodley and Kordell Stewart . It just shows how important a true franchise quarterback is if you want to contend for a Super Bowl . If Ben manages to win another Super Bowl or at the very least makes it back to one , that will be four with two wins . His spot in Canton will be reserved and waiting for him as it should be .
