Former LB James Harrison Says He Wants Back With The Pittsburgh Steelers

Cincinnati Bengals v Pittsburgh Steelers

Let’s face it – does it really surprise you?

Like going back with the ex-girlfriend who treated you best, the always outspoken James Harrison says he would love a return to the Steel City, a place where he found the most success in the NFL.

Harrison was on NFL Network with current Steelers CB Ike Taylor, and there was an exchange between the two about where Harrison wants to continue his NFL career.

Harrison was asked where he wants to play next season. “Pittsburgh,” Taylor jumped in and stated. To which Harrison said – “Everybody knows that.”

It’s a telling sign that Harrison made a huge mistake last March when the Steelers brass asked him to take a pay cut, to which he balked.

He signed with the rival Bengals for less money, and had one very average season, despite Cincy making the postseason.

Harrison was dumped in a salary move and now is looking to latch on somewhere for 2014.

At this moment, there’s been no contact from the Steelers, but one has to wonder if they will reach out to Harrison after his statement that he wants to return.
