Despite last year’s season-ending quad tear, defensive lineman Alex Carrington is drawing significant interest on the open market.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, the versatile lineman is scheduled to visit the Pittsburgh Steelers tonight while also drawing interest from the Cleveland Browns and St. Louis Rams.
The 6-foot-5 lineman is best suited to play end in a 3-4 system. The four-year veteran had cracked the Bills’ starting lineup in 2013 before suffering his season-ending injury in Week 3 against the Jets.
Carrington likely leaves Buffalo after recording 53 tackles, and four sacks while defending three passes. He had career highs in all three categories in the 2012 season.
