It was a heartbreaking way to watch the season come to an end on Sunday evening, as the Chargers pulled out a 27-24 OT win over the Chiefs that will send them to the playoffs, and not the black and gold.
A number of Steelers players and many fans took to Twitter after the game to share their thoughts on the tough loss after the team fought to win their last three to end the year at 8-8.
Feel like I just got re-injured. My heart is broke

I want to formally apologize to Matt Loede and the rest of the fellow Steelers bloggers out there for remarks that are unbecoming. I am aware that I allow my emotions to get the best of me when it comes to the Steelers and thus issue irrational, inhumane remarks regarding players, teams, etc. It reflects poorly on myself and this site and Steelers nation and for that I am sorry. I plan on removing myself from here (and other blogs for that matter) until I am able to better control my emotions regarding the Pittsburgh Steelers and football. Like Herm Edwards says, “Don’t hit send!” Advice I need to take and hopefully will be able to better articulate myself on here when and if I allow myself back. I do feel I have good things to add when I’m not fuming over a loss, wishing death on someone is over the top and unacceptable. I will post here for subject relevance but repost on a current article for chronological relevance.
