One of the more painful games I’ve ever seen live with the Steelers took place October 24th, 1993 in Cleveland vs the Browns.
The Steelers trailed 14-0 after Eric Metcalf returned a first punt for a score, but behind the passing of Neil O’Donnell they rallied to take a 23-20 lead with just over two minutes left.
That’s when Metcalf struck again, going 75 yards to put Cleveland up for good 28-23 and yet again break the hearts of Steelers fans that made the trip to Cleveland.
It’s one of just six losses the Steelers have suffered against the Browns since the 1992 season.
