We’re 10 weeks into the NFL season, and again it’s a big week for many of the teams around the NFL, and today we take a look at the games and pick who we think will win.
Jacksonville at Tennessee – While I do think the Jags will win a game in 2013, I just don’t think it will be here on the road. Though look for it to be close. Tennessee 24 Jacksonville 21
Oakland at New York Giants – The Raiders gave up 7 TD’s to Nick Foles last week, and that was at home. They won’t do that same to Eli Manning, but they will give up enough points to lose. NY Giants 27 Oakland 17
Seattle at Atlanta – A rematch from last seasons NFC Divisional playoffs, and it was a classic the Falcons pulled out in the final seconds. What a difference a year makes, as the Falcons are simply awful Seattle 28 Atlanta 20
St.Louis at Indianapolis – Last week the Colts didn’t look good for a half, but beat a distracted Texans team anyway. They won’t have the same slip up at home against the beat up Rams. Indianapolis 34 St.Louis 17
Philadelphia at Green Bay – Nick Foles against Seneca Wallace. Not exactly what you think of when you think of the Eagles and Packers, but that’s what you get here. I think the Pack with a few days to work things out at practice with Wallace will do just enough for an ugly win. Green Bay 19 Philadelphia 16
Detroit at Chicago – The Bears were impressive Monday night with a road win against the Pack, and the Lions are coming off that huge win over the Cowboys. Should be a shootout that goes the way of the Bears in the final seconds by a field goal. Chicago 27 Detroit 24
Cincinnati at Baltimore – The Ravens are having about as tough as a season as the Steelers, but they will ride their defense to a win over the Bengals, who still have flaws but are the best team in the AFC North in 2013, but not on this day. Baltimore 21 Cincinnati 17
Carolina at San Francisco – The Panthers suddenly are 5-3, and seem to have things figured out with Cam Newton and company. The Niners are 6-2, and with their QB and run game do have the edge against Ron Rivera’s D. Look for a close knit game between two good NFC squads. San Francisco 29 Carolina 23
Houston at Arizona – Tough week for the Texans, and it will be tough in my opinion for them to be focused on this game with their situation. Arizona is actually .500, and more so 3-1 at home, and I think once again they find a way to do enough to get a key win. Arizona 23 Houston 13
Denver at San Diego – Denver is coming off a much needed bye, and I think that gives them a needed edge in this AFC West battle in San Diego. Look for Phillip Rivers to try and keep up, but for it to be too much Manning and company in the end. Denver 27 San Diego 20
Dallas at New Orleans – Drew Brees vs Tony Romo in a very good offensive showcase in New Orleans, where Brees is deadly and the Cowboys D, which has been awful all season, won’t be able to stop nor will Romo and the Cowboys offense be able to keep up. New Orleans 42 Dallas 27
Monday:
Miami at Tampa Bay – It’ll be more hoopla about the off-field situation surrounding Jonathan Martin than about what should be a boring game between a .500 team and a team that hasn’t won a game. The Bucs are awful, and I can see them going without a win. Miami 23 Tampa Bay 10
