Video: Just How Much Is Roethlisberger To Blame For Steelers Woes In 2013?

Just how much is Ben Roethlisberger to blame for the Steelers woes during the 2013 season in which the team has gone just 2-5?

One of the great hosts of sports radio in Pittsburgh, and someone we consider a friend of the site, Dejan Kovacevic, talks about the issues with the Steelers and Big Ben on TribLive, and just if he is the blame for the teams issues in 2013 thus far.

Matt Loede has been in the sports media for over 16 years, with experience covering the MLB, NBA, and NFL. On Sunday’s during football season, you can hear Matt on national networks like Fox Sports Radio, Associated Press, and others. Born and raised in Cleveland Ohio, Matt studies and talks football inside and out, and is anxious to share his thoughts and comments with readers on a daily basis.

You can’t separate Ben’s play from the bad play of the offensive line.

I should add in regard to his last comment about Brady getting it done: His skill players suck, but his O-Line is still VERY good. The QB may be the key to the offense, but the O-Line is the engine. New England has a V-8 and were running on about 2 cylinders…

Ben is just a victim of a dysfunctional team that Tomlin has helped build. Our O line is less that average at best. Ben is too afraid of being killed to think about reading defenses and finding open receivers.

Ben is not responsible for this mess . He didnt make the decision to fire Bruce Arians and bring in Todd Haley . Bottom line , hes playing the hand that was dealt to him . As far as Haley goes , hell be the first one out the door after the season is over as he should be . The NFL is an air it out , down the field league now , and ten yard bubble screens arent goint to cut it . Next to go , one Dick Lebeau . He has been a great coordinator for a lot of years , but teams have figured his schemes out now , plus the fact he’ll be 77 years old next season .Its time to give the job to linebacker coach Keith Butler . Hes earned the job and hes highly respected around the league . Tomlin is safe , for now . However , if the team doesnt show improvement in 2014 , Tomlin wont be around after 2014 .

Why should we wait to have another losing season in 2014 to get rid of Tomlin? Fire the CLOWN NOW!
