There’s plenty to keep an eye on for the Steelers injury front as they get set for the Raiders Sunday in Oakland.
First is the changes on the offensive line, as right tackle Marcus Gilbert reinjured a quadriceps. The injury forced him out the game, and right now Mike Tomlin says if he can’t go, Guy Whimper would start.
The Steelers had their best day on the ground, and the offensive line was better than at any point this season. Another player on the line that was hurt was left tackle Kelvin Beachum, as he has injured ribs.
Tomlin did say that the line is “jelling.”
Outside linebacker LaMarr Woodley, who was all over the place chasing down Joe Flacco, has an injured knee, but should be able to go despite being limited in practice early in the week.
Defensive end Brett Keisel has the same rib issue that kept him out of practice early in the week last week. He will go against Oakland.
