For the second straight week, the Steelers won’t have the services of starting cornerback Cortez Allen.
Allen will miss Sunday’s game vs the Bears with a sprained ankle. His starting spot will again be taken by William Gay, who played the spot Monday vs the Bengals in the 20-10 loss.
While the team will for sure get TE Heath Miller back, the status for running back Le’Veon Bell is still up in the air for the game.
Bell himself has not ruled out playing Sunday night, as he took the field for practice Friday.
The foot sprain he suffered back on August 19th has gotten a lot better, but no one knows if it’s good enough to play against the Bears.
“I really exceeded what I thought I was going to do out there today,” Bell said. “My foot felt amazing today. The question is how I feel tomorrow.”

Why get peoples hopes up? When has a player on the injured list play when their status was questionable?
