Isaac Redman is our best back, period, when he is healthy. Bell has yet to prove he can play at this level (notwithstanding Tomlin’s obvious preference for him). Stephens-Howling is too small to be an every-down back, and F. Jones was nudged out of Dallas and Philly, although I like both of them as situation RBs.
In my estimation, our second best every-down back is Will Johnson, who deserves more carries, based on his performance. And Beachum is our best fullback. I’d like to see Redman and Johnson run behind Beachum in the red zone. When it comes to power football, our O-line needs all the help it can get.
