There was fear and terror in Steeler Nation on Friday after coach Mike Tomlin said that QB Ben Roethlisberger was having some ‘discomfort’ in the knee that he had operated on back in June.
The QB has been on the playing field the first couple days of practice, and today on ‘NFL Total Access’ he said that the knee feels just fine.
“It feels great,” Roethlisberger said.” “I was excited to get back here. Took a big break after the surgery, took a couple weeks off, and I did that on purpose so I could have time to rest.”
That should have Steelers fans feeling a bit better after the scare from Tomlin. The QB has from all reports looked just fine on the knee.
Back in London when there to promote the game this season overseas between the Steelers and Vikings, Roethlisberger said the knee was great, and now he’s out to prove that and more by telling anyone who listens that it’s just fine.
