Ever since Ben Roethlisberger came into the NFL as a rookie back in 2004, the Steelers have been a dominant team.
He’s led them to two Super Bowl titles, three AFC Championship games, and three AFC North Titles. The question is, can Ben do that again this season?
Here’s why I think Roethlisberger will lead the Steelers back into the playoffs this season.
The first reason is because I predict Roethlisberger will be injury free this season.
This is going to be the year that he will play a full season. He got hurt in the halfway point last year and rushed back from the injury and that caused the Steelers to miss the playoffs.
He wasn’t what he was in the beginning of the season. If Ben plays a full season, he can provide a lot of passing yards each and every game. He can extend plays and find open receivers as well.
He will also lead them to a division title and likely a first round bye if he doesn’t get hurt, and in 2013, it will happen.
Another key is Roethislberger’s ability to extend plays is like no one else in the game, and he does it well enough to avoid getting sacked.
He has declared his knee better than ever, and with that he can roll out of the pocket and just run around until someone just breaks loose for a reception.
If Ben can do that the whole season and not get beat up, he will be a threat to every team this year and the Steelers will be marching happily into the playoffs.
Injuries, and the continued ability to extend plays – two key reasons the franchise QB will get the black and gold back to the postseason in 2013.

How can you predict an ‘injury free’ season? If this comes true, you have magic powers!
