Plenty of times in the offseason players speak a lot more than they should, and that doesn’t escape the Steelers as far as their players go.
One player who recently spoke up about winning the AFC North was defensive end Brett Keisel, who says the black and gold will win the division.
“People can say and believe what they want to believe,” Keisel said to Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Ed Bouchette.
“But in this locker room, we feel we have the team and the talent to get back and our first goal is to get back and win our division. Good things have happened around here when we won our division … that’s our mentality.”
It may be early, but by many accounts, the Steelers in many ‘experts’ eyes are set up for a 3rd place finish in the division – behind the Ravens and Bengals.
Should Keisel have kept his mouth shut? Or is it good for him to have this much confidence already heading into training camp in a month?

Like any other successful warrior, you go to battle believing you will win, or you are in trouble.

If he said he thought anyone but the steelers would win the division then we would be in trouble. You have to believe it to achieve it. If Ben stays healthy the Steelers are a 12-4 team
