If there’s one Steeler who sounds like he’s ready to get back on the field, it’s CB Ike Taylor. The corner who missed the last four games in 2012 with an ankle injury, told Jim Rome that the ankle is healing, and he’s ready to get on the field again.
Ike Taylor told The Jungle the recovery from his broken ankle is going well, "I'm looking for a hell of a season." http://t.co/LAoGazVmBz

Last season in 12 games Taylor had 32 tackles, one pick, and 13 passes defensed.

Ike will be crucial this season if he can get back to form quickly. I’m excited to see how Allen does this year getting to start. He has huge play potential and its going to be something we havent seen out of a Steelers cb since Rod Woodson. The secondary will be strong again if they can stay healthy. What the defense really needs is for the pass rush to get to the qb at a much higher and consistent rate than the last two years.

Ike has been a solid contributor for years now. Minus the Denver playoff game and the first two games the next season, Ike has been as shutdown as a CB that anyone could ask for. He may not be Revis, but he has been very consistent over the years.
