Brown Restructures Deal To Save Steelers $3.08 Mil Off Cap In 2013

With word that QB Ben Roethlisberger and LB Lawrence Timmons have already been in contact to restructure their deals, there’s word now that WR Antonio Brown has agreed to do the same.

Reports say that Brown’s restructured deal will create $3.08 million in salary cap space for the team.

Brown’s base salary for 2013 has gone from $4.5 million to $650,000. Another good move to try and save the Steelers from having to gut the team this offseason.
