There was some good news for Steelers safety Troy Polamalu Friday, as he finally took part in practice for the Steelers, but only on a limited basis.
Polamalu was a limited participant in the session, the first time since week five of the season. He’s played in only two games this season, injuring his calf in the season opener at Denver, then missed the next two games, then started against Philadelphia October 7th, but re-aggravated the calf injury early in that game.
He has yet to appear in a game since then. Polamalu did not speak with reporters after practice.
