Getting set for the Ravens Sunday night, the Steelers made a couple roster moves today.
The first was to put linebacker Chris Carter on injured reserve due to an abdominal injury. The black and gold inked linebacker Marshall McFadden to replace him on their 53-man roster.
McFadden played his college ball at South Carolina State. He started 49 games as SC State. He was signed by the Steelers in January, and was released on August 31st, and has been on the practice squad since.
Carter was a starter for the first three games of 2012 for James Harrison, and put up six tackles and two QB pressures. He was the teams fifth-round draft pick from Fresno State in 2011.
The Steelers re-signed tight end Jamie McCoy to take McFadden’s place on the practice squad
