This review just proved something ive said for years. The sports writers do know anything about the Steelers. 1st of all Aaron Smith has been a warrior for the Steelers for over a decade but the last few years he hasnt been a consistent part of the defense. His spot has been occupied by Ziggy hood and im looking forward to a break out year from him.
2ndly.. james farrior had obviously lost a step in the middle and it was painful to watch one of my faves get old throughout last season. I love 51.. but it was time to step aside.
3rdly.. our boy Hines.. it was time for him to hang them up. He has been an ambassador for the team like no other in Steeler history. He gave us Steeler fans so many great memories and is at least worth a HOF look when his time comes. But again.. its over.. the passing game was not going through him anymore and Antonio Brown has taken the mantle as the Steelers go to guy in the passing game.
I love what 86 has done in his career.. but i believe being a color analyst is where his future will flourish at this stage of his life.
