The Steelers new look on their offensive line is about to get another new member. Jim Wexell tweeted that David DeCastro, who just last week was reported to be having major issues keeping up with the physical play of the NFL, is going to now be a starter on the line.

I can’t say based on the way that DeCastro stepped up and played Thursday against the Eagles I am all that shocked. He looked great, and worth the pick the Steelers spent in that first round.
Let’s see how the line rounds out when Mike Adams comes back, and both Adams and DeCastro are starting on the line together.

People need to remember , David Decastro for all his talent in college has only played in one preseason game in his career . After watching the Eagles Steeler game I thought Decastro more than held his own . I firmly believe , if this kid can stay healthy and doesnt let money go to his head , then the sky is the limit for him . He has all the tools to be every bit as good as ex Steeler Alan Faneca . Oh and by the way , Faneca is going to be residing in Canton Ohio one day .
