The Tribune Review reports that former Steelers LB Joey Porter wants to come back and retire with the black and gold like old pal Hines Ward did back in March.
Porter told the NFL Network that a knee injury has ended his career, and he wants to come back and ink and one-day deal to walk away a Steeler.
Last season with the Cardinals the 35-year-old played just six games. He was one of the best OLB’s in Steelers history, and in his 13 years played in the Pro Bowl four times.
The Trib reports that Porter talked to Art Rooney II and general manager Kevin Colbert, and they seemed in favor of Porter coming back and retiring a Steeler.

Joey Porter should definitely retire A Steeler what he did in the playoffs in 05 against Peyton Manning was the reason we got that Superbowl. Go out in style in The Black and Yellow he loved to wear!
