The Steelers are looking at a free agent from the Bills, and also are checking out a prospect from Miami of Ohio and a long snapper.
The team is meeting with Bills OT Demetrius Bell as well as guard Brandon Brooks and former Stanford long snapper Zachary Nolan.
Bell is 27, and has been a starter for a couple games with the Bills the past two seasons at left tackle.
He’s 6-foot-5, 311 pounds. He played in 11 games before he missed the last 5 games with a season-ending knee injury. Bell was a seventh-round pick in 2008.
Brooks is 6-foot-5, 343 pounds. He didn’t get an invitation to the NFL Scouting Combine but performed well at Miami’s Pro Day and Nolan, Stanford’s starting long snapper from 2008-2010.
Here’s a scouting report on Brooks. Click HERE.
