Mike Tomlin still isn’t quite over Sunday night’s disappointing 23-20 loss to the Ravens.
Tomlin said Tuesday the defeat still “stings” but that there’s not time for his team to lament a game that got away. The Ravens won when they drove 92 yards in the final 3 minutes to sweep the season series from the Steelers.
Tomlin says his team missed a couple of opportunities to get the Ravens off the field and it ended up costing the Steelers a chance to get a firm grip on their spot atop the AFC.
The coach added veteran wide receiver Hines Ward is feeling OK after leaving the game with concussion-like symptoms. The status of injured linebackers LaMarr Woodley and James Farrior will be evaluated later in the week.
