Steelers guard Chris Kemoeatu was fined $25,000 for a pair of infractions during the team’s second offensive possession during their 32-20 win over the Cardinals on Sunday.
The veteran left guard was fined for a facemask penalty and $15,000 for a late hit/personal foul penalty five plays later. The latter penalty turned a 3rd-and-3 opportunity into 3rd-and-18, and the Steelers came up three yards short of a first down and were forced to punt.
Both flags were the first times Kemoeatu has been penalized this season.

Glad he got fined..how many times is he the last one diven on the pile AFTER the whistle? Seems like ones a game..Can’t he hear the whistle? No excuse for a OFFENSIVE lineman

I agree with you. While I have often criticized the NFL office and King Roger for singling out the Steelers for excessive fines, this one is completely justified. Kemo is a loose cannon, who seems to be following in the unholy footsteps of the lately departed Keyaron Fox Both have cost us field position and possibly games by committing egregious personal fouls and penalties. Kemo should not only be fined by the league, but disciplined by Tomlin as well. Taking cheap shots at defenseless players while they are lying on the ground crosses the line that separates sport from brutality; it should not be tolerated.
