So, I’m sitting here watching the NFL Network and they have a segment about the Steelers and all I see is/are clips of BB getting absolutely punished by the pass rush. Then I think, “Man, everytime I see Steelers clips, it’s BB getting his ass handed to him by the pass rush!” Then I think, “Wow, since 2006, BB has been beaten the fuck up by the pass rush!” So I start to wonder what that must look like to either an impartial observer or a non-Steeler fan. If I were an impartial observer or a non Steeler fan watching this my first thought would be, “How the hell did they go to two Super Bowls and win one with that offensive line? (I’m leaving out 2005 because they had a good line in 2005). My next thought is, “Wow, what a joke the Steelers organization is and shame on them for allowing an elite QB to take that type of punishment since 2006; Super Bowl(s) or not, that is putrid, man! Why do all these other QB’s get good pass protection?” I can’t possible be the only one who thinks this especially when you consider the larger sample size of other-than-Steelers-fans. And if you say who cares what the rest of the league thinks, we got our six, then keep thinking that while the rest of the league passes us by, BB retires early and we suk like in the 1980’s. Now is the time to put the protection around him and start ignoring WR’s, and RB’s, etc!!!!! Never should you take a RB in round 1 unless his name is Adrian Peterson.
