I don’t know the last time I saw a Steelers defense look as bad on a drive as on the Texans opening drive. From the first offensive play to the last, the Steelers looked like a tired team that missed tackles, were out of position, and just don’t have the same intensity as last season.
With that said, a drive that covers 19 plays for 95 yards and takes 10:39 off the clock is just deflating. Mike Tomlin and Dick LeBeau have to be REALLY concerned about the way the defense is playing right now. They watched Curtis Painter march down the field and put up 7 in a key part of the game last week, and now to open the game, Schaub does the same thing, on a drive that just crushed the Steelers.
The Steelers seemed to have a good drive going on their first drive, but then of course you have a dumb penalty on Mike Wallace for 15 yards that set them back from what would have been the Texans 47. Then on 3rd and 10 Ben Roethlisberger was crushed and fumbled, but the team got a break with an illegal contact that gave them a first down.
It didn’t matter, as three plays later he was sacked again. Bottom line, this offensive line is simply terrible right now, and the Steelers can’t run, protect the QB, or do much of anything. If it were not for a good punt by Daniel Sepulveda that was downed at the Texans 6, this thing could really be getting out of hand in a hurry.
First quarter numbers saw the Texans outgain the Steelers 118 to 33, and Foster had 44 yards on 10 carries.

I dont know what its going to take for management to see that we suck on both sides of the ball in the trenches and do something about it! And Andrew fullofbaloney, still think that offensive lines don’t matter…hey, KDKA, how do u put a guy on the air with such limited football knowledge!!!???!!!

How many people are ridiculously sick and tired of watching Ben not have time, week in week out, season in and season out?

I hope the entire Steeler Nation is fed up with this offensive line, and Dicl Lebeau better take command of the defense. All this Steeler contes junk on Face book and Twitter needs to be put on hold until they decide wether they want to play football or not
