The Steelers decided to take a game that they should have led by 21 or more, and now they have given the game right back, as the Colts walk into the half up 13-10.
Why? Because this team doesn’t seem to like to prosper, as they gave away a lead that could have been more with not 1, not two, but three turnovers.
One of which was on a whiff by Jonathan Scott on Dwight Freeney, who got to Ben Roethlisberger, knocked the ball out of his hand, and then Jamaal Anderson went 47 yards to tie the game at 10.
Then on the next play, Roethlsiberger threw a bad pick, and instead of touching him down at about midfield, Emmanuel Sanders jumped over Joe Lefeged and throw in a low block, and the Colts were able to kick a field goal to take a lead at the half.
I’m still in the corner that the Steelers are going to find a way to win this game. The Colts are still a bad football team, and I can’t believe that Mike Tomlin is going to allow this team to play this bad for the final three quarters.
Of course in my first quarter thoughts I also said it could be 40-0, but that goes to show you how wrong I can be. I say the Steelers still win, but this isn’t going nearly the way I thought it would right now.
