Mike Tomlin said he is not all that worried about the health of Pro Bowl OLB James Harrison, who said after the third preseason game he is not in the shape he desires because of double back surgery in the offseason.
Harrison said he gets fatigued, even though he never played more than a half, and appeared to have trouble chasing down the ball. Harrison has not played since that game, but Tomlin expects him to be fine when they open the season against the Ravens.
Still, it is likely the team will try to occasionally spot Harrison with second-year OLB Jason Worilds, their No. 2 pick in 2010. Harrison is typically a fast starter, registering 24 of his 36 1/2 sacks the past three seasons in the first eight games of the season.

I’m not so worried about Harrison’s conditioning — I’m worried about his BACK and how well it will hold up. His game is all about leverage, power and explosiveness. Let’s keep our fingers crossed.
