After stating Monday that the team was going to keep an open mind about him playing Thursday night, it seems that the team will once again be without safety Troy Polamalu when the Steelers host the Panthers at Heinz Field.
The game changing safety didn’t practice Tuesday, leaving his status for Thursday evening’s game against the visiting Panthers very questionable at best, and it looks like he won’t be playing since today was the only practice the team will have before the game.
Second-year S Ryan Mundy is on target to make his second straight start for the veteran defensive back. Mundy didn’t play all that badly for Polamalu, but for sure there’s no mistaking when #43 is in the game.

I wouldn’t be suprised at all if carolina play the steelers tough thursday night regardless if troy p plays or not.

I agree with that insight. One pro team playing another pro team on a short week and playing them tough is usually the norm. Having said that, Mr. Crowley is a Ravens fan and i believe an asshole.
