The Steelers are down another OL for the season, as Max Starks’ injury has landed him on injured reserve, ending his season. Rookie OL Chris Scott has been activated off PUP and will wear No. 61.
Starks, in his seventh year with the Steelers, consulted with doctors Tuesday to see if the injury required surgery or would heal with physical therapy, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported, citing a source close to the player.
Starks left Monday’s game, returned to the field, then left for good during the second half, and Steelers coach Mike Tomlin termed Starks’ injury “stingers” during his news conference Tuesday.

Big hit! This team could really not afford to have a weak spot like their offensive line go through changes on the fly. How they respond will be an indicator of where they expect to go this season. Assuming Kemo plays Sunday, will the line look like this: Scott/Kemo/Pouncey/Essex/Adams? Or, do Legursky and Foster get a chance to start? Im sure those two players will at least rotate this week and possibly the rest of the season. Maybe this will have a good impact on the team as well. I mean, Hills,Foster,Scott and Legursky will have a chance to be starters now so will they really go the extra mile to improve and impress. Maybe Adams goes to LT and Essex to RT and Legursky to G? There are many different looks the team can give now, but do any of them actually improve or weaken the team? I want to have faith in the way the Steelers will evaluate the talent or lack of talent and move forward. Kugler has improved the line this season and faced a similar situation last year in Buffalo with decent results. Lets see what happens against the reeling Patriots.

Will the Steelers consider resigning Justin hartwig? Make sense to me unless someone has information as to why this is not a good idea.
Thanks and GO STEELERS!
