This idiotic rule just may be the straw that sends the NFL players onto the strike line. While all fans are for better protection of players, but this is not it. Retroactive rules are like retroactive taxes, they’re as welcome as the plague. Nevertheless, the NFL is about big hits and big plays from a bunch of highly compensated, highly motivated athletes. It’s not touch football either. It’s hard hitting play by guys who have gotten a lot bigger and faster than the average athlete in other sports. First the NFL comes out with their 18 game season which no player wanted. Then the NFL comes out with a retroactive if you tackle someone too hard you’re gonna lose a lot of money and get suspended. Several mainstream media panzies have labeled Harrison a dirty player but which NFL team would absolutely love to have him on their team? He hits like a bulldozer and is built bigger than a tank. So why don’t we just look at game film from every NFL team and 10:1 you can easily find a $75,000 hit on any team.
